Keeneland invites all active duty, reserve, veterans and military families to Keeneland on Sunday, October 23, 2011 for Military Appreciation Day. Military and families with Military ID receive free general admission at any pass gate and reserved seating in the grandstand.
- Keeneland’s Handicapper will give instruction on choosing a horse at 11 a.m.
- Youth activities will be available in the “Military Kids Zone” until 2:00 p.m.
- Families of KYNHs 198th MPs, 1/149th IN, ADT3, 3/20th SFG are invited to participate in a Deployment training event beginning at 8 a.m.
Gates open at 11 a.m. with the first race at 1:15 p.m. and every 30 minutes. Last race goes off at 5:15 p.m.
